Ultra-slim design
The Aspire S Series is razor-thin and featherlight, at just 13 mm (0.51") slim and under 1.4 kg5 -- a real delight to carry. Revolutionary display technology integrates the 13.3" frame, cutting the bezel thickness by a third, while the super-lightweight embedded lithium-polymer battery is custom-shaped to fit the ultra-thin chassis. The aluminum/Mg-Al case adds to the sleek look and feel, while protecting the LCD and making the Aspire S Series extra strong and durable.

The solid state drive (SSD) gives you quick access to your files, while an optional HDD6 offers huge storage space.
