Notebook sales are 55% to 45% on desktops in Australia (2005) and this figure is

increasing for notebooks by around 7.5% each year.

In 2007 growth is expected for notebooks to increase by 33% while only 10% for desktops.

Size of Australian market

This represents $23.5 billion (and growing) mobile computing economy per annum.

Portable personal computing will consolidate as the device of choice because of the ergonomics associated with ‘screen and keyboard'.
